Ron Carroll received his formal education in Psychology and Art from Loyola University Chicago, but stated his his career in technology. For over 15 years, he automated, assisted and consulted small and large businesses in various capabilities (network engineering, management, Sales and Training), while working with such as IBM Corporation, Comdisco, Creative labs and Lynk (RBS) Systems.

Mr. Carroll is currently President and CEO of Get a Grip America Inc., but has started other companies
as well, including Eye to Mind Design, Business Information Group (BIG USA), and Chicago Cyber Cafes.

Get a Grip America is a life-style oriented, educational and affordable social club for urban professionals to get a better grip on life while meeting new people, trying new things, and going new places in a fun, relaxed and green environment.

In addition to having vast business experience, Ron is a website designer, videographer, artist, musician, writer, 5 letter athlete and Phd Candidate. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and has hosted business events, seminars, workshops, and worked trade shows across the United States, in Canada and Mexico.

Lastly, Ron founded CACA (Community Access Centers of America) in 1995. CACA is divided into 3 sections, SIP, TIP and CAP. SIP = Self Investment Program (Get your GED, take pre-college classes, etc. for free) TIP = Technical Inroads Program (Learn pc repair, digital music mixing and website design) for 18 + teenagers to get started on a cool career. Finally, we have CAP (Competitive Advantage Program), which uses TIP Graduates to help local small businesses and non-profits with computer and website work for free, giving the TIP student some real experience and a prospect for a local, small business startup in the future.
